Console offers a National Helpline and has extended its services to provide for people who are themselves experiencing a crisis in addition to those bereaved by suicide. Pieta House - Centre for Prevention of Suicide & Self Harm
Pieta House is Ireland’s only centre aimed at prevention of suicide and self-harm offers services to people in crisis by offering one-to-one counselling to those feeling suicidal or suffering the effects of a suicide event.

Pieta House’s service is provided free of charge to all, by fully accredited therapists working at the main Centre in Lucan, and in in Outreach Centres in Tallaght and Clondalkin, Dublin.

S.O.S. (Suicide or Survive)
A registered charity formed to fill gaps in existing services for those who have attempted or contemplated suicide. SOS have centres in Shankill, Co Dublin and Arklow, Co Wicklow and provides four services:
- The Eden Programme;
- An Advice Bureau;
- An Education Programme – Wellness in the Workplace;
- A Newsletter.
