National Office for Suicide Prevention.  
The Irish National Office for Suicide Prevention was set up to:
Oversee the implementation of 'Reach Out' the National Strategy for Action on Suicide Prevention
Co-ordinate suicide prevention efforts around the country
Speak regularly with agencies and individuals interested and active in suicide prevention
The NOSP works closely with the HSE Resource Officers for Suicide Prevention.

Choose Life: A National Strategy and Action Plan to Prevent Suicide in Scotland
Phase 1 of 10-year plan to reduce suicide rates in Scotland by 20% by 2013. Scottish Executive allocated £12 million from National Programme budget over the next 3 years to support and complement both national and local action to achieve the "Choose Life" aims. £3m being invested in National Action, £9m to support local work.
