The Flora Women's Mini-Marathon will take place on Monday, 7th June, 2010 along a route of 10k (6.2 miles) through South Dublin. Since it began in 1983 over 450,000 women have entered and have collected over €66m making it the biggest charity event in Ireland. Women (and men!!) from all over Ireland participated in aid of the 3Ts for the first time in 2004, raising over €4,000 to help Turn the Tide of Suicide. This figure trebled subsequently. In 2009, participants raised approximately €10,000 for the charity

All ages, representing every county and all walks of life take part. All participants have to do is get fit enough to walk, jog or run the 10k. Each individual sets her own target and every finisher is a winner, receiving a commemorative medal and ribbon to mark the achievement.

To pre-register for 3Ts sponsorship pack for 2010 race, please call 3Ts on (01) 2139905 or email 3ts@alburn.com. Sponsorship pack includes 3Ts t-shirt and official sponsorship card. Registering for a charity does not register you for the race. You must also submit the official entry form to the race organisers in order to enter. Official entry form for 2010 is available through the Evening Herald from March and also online from the race website. Latest closing date online for race entries is 27th April 2010, or earlier if max entry numbers are reached. To secure entry in the race, it is recommended to submit entries before 27th April as maximum numbers are often reached before the designated closing date.
